The Rose & Tail Club was born from a bold idea — to reimagine what a night with friends, a partner, or simply escaping the monotony of everyday life could be. Brought to life by husband-and-wife team Jonathan and Rocio Hernandez, owners of The Black Rabbit Society and Vida Beauty & Wellness, this latest venture is a love letter to luxury and sensory escape.

 

After the successful design of Vida Beauty & Wellness, the Hernandez’s once again partnered with local creative designer, and conceptual photographer Shannon Lea Rock to bring their next dream to life. With a shared passion for crafting spaces and experiences that feel deeply personal and entirely transportive, the team set out to create a space unlike anything else in the Central Valley — a place that felt like stepping into an equal parts mid-century modern, art deco glam, and underground speakeasy.

Inspired by the stylized worlds of Wes Anderson, every inch of the space was infused with nostalgic charm, curated detail. It’s not just a bar. It’s a stage. A sanctuary. A secret worth sharing.

Every detail was thoughtfully designed to invite both indulgence and intimacy, where elegance meets eccentricity and every visit feels like a scene worth savoring. As the vision grew, so did the need for a hands-on creative partner to bring it fully to life. Enter local craftsman Rocky Asuncion — whose passion helped carry the space across the finish line. Together, the team’s shared dream became a tangible reality.
